...
Over the past few months I've begun to see more and more Sirius receivers in other cars. I've been a subscriber for over three months now and I've only resorted to terrestrial radio a handful of times when the satellite wasn't available. Even now I'm streaming it on the internet. The amount of commercials and just plain nonsense on terrestrial radio has made any format impossible to listen to.
I know I sound like some snotty brat that has had a taste of something nice and just bashes the other offerings. I'm sorry about that. You see I don't do the MP3 thing. I did a while back, but during the big RIAA vs. Charter scare I dumped any kind of digital music I had. Sirius gives me the freedom to listen to almost anything I want at any given time. Spa 73 has been playing almost nonstop in my office for the past week. Want something else? Country? Rock? Classics? Pop? News? I've got it in one convenient place and with out all of the morning zoo sounding garbage.
Anyway, at first I saw a receiver a couple times a month or maybe once a week in traffic. They are kind of hard to miss especially at night. Over the past week I've seen at least one receiver a day. I'm sure people are coming over for Howard. Hopefully the rest of the package is good enough for them to stay because I'm hooked and I don't want my service to go away any time soon.
BTW, on a completely different subject, I found a cool new Indian food site.
