...
SuperWife has returned from Berkeley, CA in one piece. The kids and I had a great time this weekend. Even though they were both really sick they couldn't have been better. Kristin only wigged out once and hit me and then she hit Grandma once as well. Megs broke down Saturday morning and wanted to talk to Mommy on the phone. Too bad it was 5:30 AM her time. I distracted them with a trip to the zoo.

I'm truly amazed at the scope of the zoo every time I visit. I can't believe we have such a wonderful place and it's free to boot! We saw every animal that wasn't in the children's zoo, the monkey house, or the reptile house. I had every intention of going to the children's zoo, but SuperWife took the Zoo Friends card with her to Cali. I can't pay for everything when I know they will be back in a few weeks.

The lack of stress at home and the new lack of stress at work is nice. I'm all alone and on the hook for some production servers, but they seem to be taking care of themselves for the time being.

Lunch consisted of bruschetta. I stole a visit to Trader Joe's and made myself some bruschetta with goat cheese. It was really good. Shoot. I've been meaning to post my recipe for sambar. I guess now is as good of a time as any.
